Job description
Telecom Installation Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising field teams in the installation, integration support, and commissioning and company procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in telecom installation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Hands-on experience with Huawei wireless, transmission, power, and site infrastructure equipment.
Knowledge of telecom installation standards and quality requirements.
First Aid, Fire Fighting and Risk Assessment & identification Certified.
Ability to read technical drawings and installation documents.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Valid driving license is an advantage.
Work conditions:
Full-time position.
Frequent travel to project sites throughout Ethiopia.
Work may involve remote areas and extended working hours to meet project schedules.
Exposure to outdoor environments.
Compliance with company and customer health and safety requirements is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise telecom installation teams on site.
Execute installation activities according to approved procedures.
Ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials required for installation.
Monitor work progress and submit daily/weekly reports.
Ensure compliance with Huawei standards and customer requirements.
Conduct site inspections and rectify installation deficiencies.
Support commissioning and site acceptance activities.
Train and mentor technicians and installers.
Maintain proper housekeeping and adherence to HSE requirements.
