Implementation Manager

Job description

The Telecom Implementation Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of telecom network rollout projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control. The role oversees site deployment activities including civil works, power installation, RAN, transmission, and integration, while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. This position requires strong project management capability, technical knowledge across telecom domains, and leadership to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field * 5–10 years of experience in telecom project implementation or rollout management * Proven experience managing end-to-end site deployment (RAN, MW, power, civil) * Strong understanding of telecom standards, quality, and EHS requirements * Experience working with major vendors (Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, Nokia, etc.) * Solid project management skills (planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management) * Familiarity with project tools (MS Project, Excel, or similar) * PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work conditions:

* Combination of office-based management and frequent field/site visits * Travel to remote, rural, and sometimes high-risk or high-security areas * Long working hours during critical rollout phases and tight deadlines * Coordination across multiple teams, contractors, and client representatives * Requires high accountability for project delivery, safety, and quality outcomes

Responsibilities:

* Plan and manage end-to-end telecom site implementation projects * Coordinate civil, power, RAN, and transmission teams for smooth execution * Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and resource allocation effectively * Ensure compliance with quality standards and EHS regulations on all sites * Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively * Track project costs and ensure delivery within approved budget * Liaise with clients for progress updates, approvals, and issue resolution * Review and approve technical documentation, site reports, and acceptance packages * Drive continuous improvement in project execution, safety, and efficiency
